WHAT WE BELIEVE
1. THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
We believe in the plenary and verbal inspiration of the Holy Bible as originally written and that it is the product of Spirit-controlled men, and therefore, is truth without any admixture of error. We believe the Bible to be the true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds and opinions, shall be tried.

2. THE TRUE GOD
We believe the Scripture teach that there is one, and only one, living and true God, an infinite, intelligentSpirit, whose name is JEHOVAH, the maker and Supreme Ruler of Heaven and Earth; inexpressibly glorious in Holiness, and worthy of all possible honor, and confidence, and love; that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in every Divine Perfection, and executing distinct, but harmonious offices in the great work redemption.

3. THE FALL OF MAN
We believe the Scriptures teach that man was created in innocence, under the law of his Maker, but by voluntary transgression fell from the innocent and happy estate, in consequence of which all mankind are now sinners, not by constraint, but by choice, being by nature utterly void of that holiness required by the law of God, positively inclined to evil, and therefore under just condemnation to eternal ruin, without defense or excuse.

4. THE VIRGIN BIRTH
We believe the Scriptures teach that Jesus was begotten of the Holy Spirit in a miraculous manner; born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever born, or can ever be born of a woman, and that He is both the Son of God, and God the Son.

5. THE WAY OF SALVATION
We believe the Scriptures teach that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace, through the shed blood and mediatorial offices of the Son of God, who according to the will of the Father, assumed our nature, yet without sin, honored the Divine Law by His personal obedience, and by His death made a full atonement for our sins; that having risen from the dead, He is now enthroned in Heaven, and uniting in suitable, a compassionate, and an all-sufficient Savior.

We believe that in order to be saved, sinners must be born again; that the new birth is instantaneous and not a process; that it is the act of the Holy Spirit by which He places sinner into the family of God at the moment he receives Jesus Christ as Savior.

We believe the Scriptures teach that repentance is a personal act prompted by the Holy Spirit, and consists in a change of mind and heart which grows out of godly sorrow. Repentance is a pre-requisite to salvation.

We believe the Scriptures teach that faith is the medium through which Christ is received by the soul as its sacrifice and Savior. It is an ascent of mind and a consent of the heart, consisting mainly of belief and trust; the testimony of God is explicitly accepted and believed as true, while Christ is unreservedly trusted for salvation; by it the believer is brought into vital relations with God; freely justified, and lives as seeing Him who is invisible. Faith reveals Christ to the soul as a willing and sufficient Savior, and commits the heart and life unto Him.

We believe the Scriptures teach that the great Gospel blessing which Christ secures to such as believe in Him is justification; that justification includes the pardon of sin, and the gift of eternal life on principles of righteousness; that it is bestowed, not in consideration of any works of righteousness we have done, freely imputed to us of God; that it brings us into a state of most blessed peace and favor with God, and secures us every blessing needful for time and eternity.

We believe the Scriptures teach that Adoption is a gracious act, by which the Father, for the sake of Christ, accepts believers to the estate and condition of children, by a new and spiritual birth, sending the spirit of adoption into their hearts, whereby they become members of the family of God, and entitled to all the rights and privileges and promises of children, and, if children, then heirs, heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, to the heritage of the saints on earth, and an inheritance reserved in Heaven for them.

We believe the Scriptures teach that sanctification is three-fold:
- The believer receives the imputed holiness of Christ at the moment he trusts Christ as Savior and therefore is counted as righteous and perfect, in Christ. (1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 10:10-14)
- The believer is commanded to be holy in thought, speech and life, and to grow in likeness to Christ. (1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Ephesians 4:11-16; 2 Peter 3:18)
- The believer is going to be made perfect in every respect at the return of Christ. (1 John 3:2; Philippians 3:20-21; 1 Corinthians 15:42-54)
12. THE PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS
We believe the Scriptures teach that such as are regenerate, being born of the Holy Spirit, will not utterly fall away and finally perish, but will endure unto the end; that their persevering attachment to Christ is the grand mark which distinguishes them from superficial professors; that a special providence watches over their welfare; and they are kept by the power of God through faith.

13. THE LOCAL CHURCH
We believe that a local church is a congregation of immersed believers, associated by covenant of faith and fellowship of the Gospel, observing the ordinance of Christ, governed by His laws; and exercising the gifts, rights and privileges invested in them by His Word; that its officers are pastor’s deacons, whose qualifications, claims and duties, are clearly defined in the Scriptures.
We believe the true mission of the church is the faithful witnessing of Christ to all men as we have opportunity and the building up and edifying of the saints. We hold that the local church has the absolute right of self-government free from the interference of any hierarchy of individuals or organizations and that the one and only Head is Christ through the Holy Spirit; that it is scriptural for true churches to cooperate with each other in contending for the faith, and for the furtherance of the Gospel; that each local church is the sole judge of the measure and method of its cooperation; on all matters of membership of polity, of government, of discipline, of benevolence, the will of the local church is final.

14. BAPTISM AND THE LORD'S SUPPER
We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of the believer in water, in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, to show forth in solemn and beautiful emblem our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, and to picture our death to sin and resurrection to a new life; that it is a pre-requisite to the privileges of church membership.
We believe the Lord’s Supper is the commemoration, by the use of unleavened bread and wine (fruit of the vine) of the death of Christ until He comes again, to be preceded always by solemn self-examination.

15. CIVIL GOVERNMENT
We believe the Scriptures teach that civil government is of Divine appointment, for the interest and good order of human society, and that magistrates are to be prayed for, conscientiously honored and obeyed, except only in things opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, as revealed in the Bible, who is the only Lord of the conscience, and coming Prince of the kings of the earth.Civil rulers have no rights of control over, of or interference with, religious matters.

16. THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED
We believe the Scriptures teach that there is a radical and essential difference between the righteous and the wicked; that such only as through faith are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and sanctified by the Spirit of God, are truly righteous in His esteem, while all such as continue in impenitence and unbelief are, in His sight, wicked and under the curse, and this distinction holds among men both in this life and after death, in the everlasting bliss of the saved and the everlasting conscious suffering of the lost.

17. SATAN OR THE DEVIL
We believe the Scriptures teach the personality of Satan; that he is the unholy god of this age, and the author of all the powers of darkness, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the lake of fire. (Job 1: 6-12; Matthew 4:1-10; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:10) and organizations that sanction such doctrines.

18. THE RETURN OF CHRIST AND THE RESURRECTION
We believe in the personal, visible, premillennial, pre-tribulational, return of Christ and these related events:
- The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:6-7; Luke 24:1-6, 39; John 20:19-28; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
- The ascension. (Acts 1:9-11; Luke 24:51; Revelation 3:21; Hebrews 12:2)
- The high priesthood. (1 Timothy 2:5; 1 John 2:1; Hebrews 2:17; 4:15-16, 7:25; 8:1; Romans 8:34)
- The second coming. (John 14:3; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; James 5:7-8; Hebrews 9:28)
- The resurrection of the righteous dead. (1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:42-44; 15:52; Revelation 20:1-6)
- The change of the living in Christ. (1 Corinthians 15: 51-53; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Philippians 3:20-21)
- The throne of David. (Luke 1:32; Isaiah 9:6-7; Acts 2:29-30)
- The millennial reign. (1 Corinthians 15:25; Isaiah 11:1-9; Jeremiah 23:5-6; Revelation 20:11-15)
- The resurrection of the wicked dead. (John 5:25-29; Revelation 20:11-15)
The command to give the Gospel to the world is clear and unmistakable and this commission is the responsibility of all believers.

20. THE GRACE OF GIVING
Scriptural giving is one of the fundamentals of the faith. “Therefore as ye abound in everything, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.” (2 Corinthians 8:1-9; 9:6-15) We believe that since we are not under the law we do not give of our means because of necessity nor according to a prescribed amount, but as God hath prospered us. However, because the dispensation of grace is a higher position spiritually than the dispensation of the law, we ought to give at least as much as the law required and more. Thus the tithe is a good guide for our minimum giving.

21. SEPARATION FROM ALL FORMS OF APOSTASY AND FALSE GOSPELS
We believe modernism, liberalism, social gospel, and any other gospel other than the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, are not of God, but are of antichrist, and that we as believers should have no fellowship with such unfruitful works of darkness, and that we are called upon to separate from all alliances, churches, groups and organizations that sanction such doctrines.

We believe that God, according to His sovereign will and for His own glory, in the beginning brought forth the whole visible and invisible universe, without the use of pre-existent material, and thus gave it an existence, distinct from His own and yet always dependent on Him.

We believe that God created the universe in six literal, 24-hour periods. We reject evolution, the gap theory, the day-age theory, theistic evolution, and intelligent design not attributed to God as unscriptural theories of origin.

23. BAPTIST DISTINCTIVES
We believe that there are certain principles to which Baptists have consistently held, among being: that the sacred Scriptures are the sole for both faith and practice, and are the divine pre-interpretation of which is best for man (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; Acts 17:11), that the New Testament church should be a body composed of baptized believers (Acts 2: 38-42; Matthew 28:19), the priesthoodof the believers… that is, that the believer has free access to God at anytime for spiritual comfort, forgiveness of sins, and the privilege of interceding for the needs of others (1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 1:6; Hebrews 4:16). That the local congregation has complete authority to govern itself, subject only to the imperatives of Christ himself (1 Corinthians 16:3; 2 Corinthians 8:9; Acts 6:3,5; 1 Peter 5: 13), and in the principles of religious liberty and separation of church and state.

24. HUMAN SEXUALITY
- We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex. We believe that God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender be surgery or appearance. (Genesis 2:24, 19:5, 13, 26:8-9; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; 1 Corinthians 5:1, 6:9; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8; Hebrews 13:4)
- We believe that the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24; Romans 7:2; 1 Corinthians 7:10; Ephesians 5:22-23)
- In keeping with our beliefs regarding human sexuality as expressed in this statement of faith and in keeping with our purpose, we have the following practical policies:
- All people are welcome to attend our regular worship services.
- Those who attend may not display behavior that is indicative of the sinful behaviors listed above of this section in church services, at church functions, and on the church grounds.
- Church representatives are not to display overt disrespect for those who are involved in the sinful behaviors listed in this section.
- The pastor of the church will preach consistently against all forms of sinful behavior as listed in this section, as well as other sinful behaviors.
